Hello, my name is Erin Vigil. I am originally from Fort Collins. I come from a long line of teachers. My dad taught at Rocky Mountain High School for many years and my mother taught at Boltz Junior High School.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and an Emphasis in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. I also attended Colorado Christian University and received a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction.
I recently finished my 6th year teaching at Bethke. Prior to Bethke I taught at an elementary school in Jefferson County School District for 11 years. I have taught 1st grade for 5 years, 2nd grade for 9 years, 3rd grade for 2 years, and 4th grade for 1 year. Altogether, This will be my 18th year teaching!
I am married to my amazing husband erik and I have three amazing step children. Noah is 17 and is very athletic. He plays football and track. Mikaela is 13 and has a passion for soccer and track. Shiloh is 9 and loves to dance, sing, and act. They have brought tremendous love and joy to my life! I also have a 19th month old baby girl named tinsley! she has made me incredibly happy and has completed our family!
I also have a chihuahua named sadie. She is a loving dog and is great company!
I can't wait for this year to begin and to meet all of my wonderful new families! I look forward to what this school year has to bring!
